In a unexpected crossover event that defies traditional forecasts, Ubisoft has revealed an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Adventure Uncovered
According to the authorized announcement, "An unusual meeting draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where rumors of prohibited ceremonies and fearsome metamorphoses resonate through the shadows." The storyline introduces a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a secret cult.
The mission centers on "strange tests and a terrifying foe" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Metamorphoses
The teaser highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser concludes with a powerful sequence showing a character, likely the hostage, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Rewards and Bonus Material
Players who successfully complete the adventure will obtain an unique katana together with numerous objects hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:

Third Free Story Addition
